- Downhill speed: 30-40 km/h on standard wheels

Overview
The roller ski track consists of two distinct sections: a stadium area and a climbing section. The stadium is well suited to beginners, offering a safe and relatively easy environment for learning and technique work. The climbing section, on the other hand, is better suited to intermediate and advanced skiers.
The descents can be surprisingly fast. Depending on your starting point and whether you ski in an aerodynamic tuck or remain upright, downhill speeds can range from below 30 km/h to around 40 km/h.
A full lap measures approximately 1.4 km and includes around 20 metres of elevation gain. The track was completed in October 2024, and the asphalt remains in excellent condition.
Location and Atmosphere
The location is excellent—just ten minutes by car from downtown Jyväskylä and adjacent to the Laajis ski resort. This makes the facility easily accessible for both local skiers and visitors passing through the area.
The track is a popular destination not only for roller skiers but also for hikers, dog walkers, and Nordic walkers. While this creates a lively atmosphere, it is worth keeping in mind during busy periods and adjusting your speed accordingly, especially on the descents.
