Overview
The Tuusula roller ski track is a compact and engaging closed circuit located in the Uusimaa region, about 30 minutes north of Helsinki. Unlike many roller ski facilities, it avoids repetitive U-turns and instead offers a continuous loop through varied surroundings.
The profile is characterized by short but punchy climbs and several rewarding descents. The highlight is a sweeping downhill where speeds can approach 40 km/h, followed by a climb that can be conquered using momentum alone. Most other descents reach around 30–32 km/h under dry conditions.

Notable features include a fully asphalted bridge, a series of flowing turns that are well suited for practicing cornering skills, and an unusually hard asphalt surface that provides excellent rolling speed but requires precise pole plants.
The track shares the sports complex with football facilities and can become fairly busy, particularly on weekends. During our visit, footballs occasionally found their way onto the track, so extra awareness may be required when activity levels are high.
Overall, Tuusula offers a flowing and enjoyable skiing experience that rewards momentum and technical skiing more than sustained climbing ability.
